Nestled in the heart of the Old Midan Souk, Abu Melhem, just like the splendid town of Hammana, stood the test of time, maintaining its traditional cachet and embracing the modern and trendy vibe of Lebanese summers.
Our boutique café has been in our family for over 8 decades, first as a traditional pastry shop opened by our grandfather in the 1950s. It was then passed on to our father, nicknamed “Abu Melhem”, who converted it into a bodega in the late 1970s.
